The area:
5.000 hectares private nature reserve in the malaria free Waterberg region. Located three hours from Johannesburg.

Accommodation:
Two luxurious camps – Ant’s Nest or Ant’s Hill. Both take a maximum of 12 guests. Ant’s Nest is perfect for families or friends travelling together as the group will have exclusivity of the lodge.

Activities:
The speciality here is horseback safari – the perfect way of getting up close. Available for all, whatever your age or riding ability. Walks in the bush, gentle strolls or sweat breaking hikes, game viewing from the open vehicle.

Both lodges, Ant’s Nest and Ant’s Hill are beautifully decorated. Ant’s Nest, with its wide porches, it has a classic relaxed African atmosphere.

Ant’s Hill is built on the edge of a cliff and offers breathtaking views across the Waterberg. Spacious rooms, large comfortable beds, all with en-suite facilities. Both lodges have large heated swimming pools, very popular with children.

At Ant Africa Safari there are no set schedules. You decide how each day is to be filled, staff and guides are available with suggestions, but the decision is yours. Sleep in, relax poolside or fill your days with action packed excitement.

The chefs at both lodges are excellent. The food is sublime, the wine list extraordinary. All wines and spirits are included in the price.
