Located in the Limpopo province close to the grey-green greasy Limpopo River. The river where the elephant got his trunk, according to Rudyard Kipling...

Mananga Safaris are owned and run by Sureta and Kobus Fourie, whose only objective is to give you the finest of safaris. They have at their disposal more than 35.000 hectare of unspoilt wilderness, where you will be able to see and photograph a wide variety of animals, from the smallest antelope to the largest land-mammal in Africa, the elephant.

The slightly hilly terrain is diverse, from mopane woodlands, baobab woodlands to wide-open plains dotted with kopjes – small and larger isolated granite formations – which when climbed offer a spectacular view. The area is part of a large conservation project, involving the local communities and offers a beautiful and contrasting landscape.

A safari with Mananga is a unique experience where you have exclusivity of the lodge and in turn won't be sharing the pool or the game viewer with any strangers. All staff will cater to your desires, and only yours, for the duration of your safari.

Mananga Safaris employ nature guides that are in a class of their own. They are pleasant, considerate, humorous and capable of discussing everything from the parental care of elephants to the current political situation in Zimbabwe.
