Zambezi Hunters mixes the old and the new
Established in 1969 by Ian Piercy as one of the first registered safari operators in Zimbabwe, the company has a proud and respected tradition of providing exceptional big game hunting. Zambezi Hunters is now owned by Jonathan Hulme and Alistair Pole. Both are committed to developing the company into one of the premier safari operators in Africa.

Jonathan Hulme - Top professional - Years of experience
Jonathan is born in 1969, and grew up in the bush alongside the local tribes, where he learnt a great deal about the habitat and obtained great insight in what would eventually become his priorities in life, namely nature, the Shona culture and hunting.
A more than capable hunter and already fluently in the Chishona dialect it was clear to everyone who knew Jonathan that his aim was to become a Professional Hunter. In 1986 he started his apprenticeship with Ian Piercy´s Zambezi Hunters. The start of what has since turned into a brilliant career.
Having hunted more than 150 elephant, 200 buffalo, 102 leopard, 27 lion and thousands of antelope, you are sure to be in the best of hands when you hunt with Zambezi Hunters.

Alistair Pole - Administrator
Alistair did his PhD on African wild dogs and was a wildlife management consultant before joining Zambezi Hunters. He now runs the business side of the operation.
